Press Release:

RALEIGH, NC - Today, two radical Moral Monday-affiliated groups supporting Roy Cooper, Progress NC Action and NCAE 2020, falsely accused Governor McCrory of signing legislation that hurts teachers and hard-working North Carolinians.

"The fact is, no Governor or state has raised teacher pay more in the last three years than Governor McCrory and the state of North Carolina. As someone who has taken an oath to promote truth and justice, Roy Cooper should disavow any and all fringe organizations that seek to blatantly distort Governor McCrory's record," said North Carolina executive director Dallas Woodhouse.

Further, the attack on Governor McCrory is hardly newsworthy, according to this picture taken today at approximately 1:30 PM, which shows one of the aforementioned fringe organizations marching with less than seven people.

Representatives of the North Carolina GOP will be available for comment on record in front of the Capitol Building at 4:30PM tonight.
