    Mrs. Eunice Ann Waters Woolard, age 80, a resident of Terrapin Track Road, Washington, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

    The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: David Woolard, Brandon Woolard, Nathan Woolard, Jon Riley, Vance Price, and Michael Waters.

    Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on November 8, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Arthur M. Waters and Zula Wallace Waters. Mrs. Woolard worked as a LP Nurse at Beaufort County Hospital for 36 years. She was a member of the Washington Seventh Day Adventist Church.

    On December 29, 1953, Mrs. Woolard married Cecil E. Woolard, who survives.

    Mrs. Woolard is survived by her husband, Cecil E. Woolard of the home; son, Glenn E. Woolard and wife Carolyn of Siler City, N.C.; four grandchildren, David Woolard and wife Kaitlyn, Brandon Woolard and wife Rachel and their sons, Enoch and Elijah, Brittany Riley and husband Jon, Nathan Woolard; two sisters, Peggy Jean Price of Jamesville, Lewellyn Wallace of Pinetown.

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woolard was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur Waters, Jr., Donald Waters, Hubert Waters, Phillip E. Waters and one sister, Mertie Marie Sturgis.
