There is no way Hillary can lose! | Eastern NC Now

Ought to change her name to Hillary No-Way-She-Can-Lose Clinton.

Here are excerpts from the Wall Street Journal on the day before the election...

    • Headline: "FBI Affirms No Clinton Charges"

    • Headline: "Trump's Path to Victory Is Narrow"

    • Hillary Clinton has several paths to the White House, while Republican Donald Trump must all-but sweep the battlegrounds where the race has centered, and will likely need at least one Democratic-leaning state, too.

    • For Mrs. Clinton, victory would require her winning one or two of the most contested states, if she can hold on to those that long favored Democratic nominees.

    • Mr. Trump has said he has a shot at those Democratic-leaning states, which include Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota and New Mexico. Yet polls in each show Mrs. Clinton ahead.

    • Nationally, a poll released Sunday found Mrs. Clinton leading Mr. Trump by 4 points among likely voters. (This was a WSJ Poll.)

    • His path to victory, far narrower than Mrs. Clinton's, also likely requires a win in at least one state that has long been in the Democratic column.

    • Mr. Trump's chances are dim unless he can wrest away a state such as Michigan or Pennsylvania.

    • Democrats begin with an advantage in the hunt for the 270 Electoral College votes required to win. In every election since 2000, they have won states that account for 242 electoral votes; Republicans have won states that total 179 in the same period.

    • Hillary Clinton holds a 4-point lead over Donald Trump in the waning days of a volatile campaign. (This was a WSJ Poll.)

    • Voters have ended up more worried about the Republican nominee's temperament than about Mrs. Clinton's email controversy. (This is a WSJ Poll.)

    • Mr. Trump's economic populism has failed to gain the traction he hoped for among independent voters, who favor Mrs. Clinton by 2 points.

    • Mr. Trump is falling short among other groups that Mr. Romney won. Mr. Romney won independents by 5 percentage points; Mr. Trump is behind by 2 points. Mr. Romney won by 14 points among white voters with four-year college degrees; Mr. Trump lags behind by 7.

    • Among Hispanics, Mr. Romney drew 27%-a share so low that it raised concerns among Republicans about the party's future with that fast-growing demographic group. But the Journal/NBC poll of Hispanics found Mr. Trump is drawing only 20%.

    • LeBron James wanted Hillary to win.

    • Mrs. Clinton is leading by 13 points among female voters. Her advantage exceeds the 10-point margin by which President Barack Obama won among women voters in the 2012 election, and on average, the 8-point gap favoring the Democratic nominee since 1980. (This was a WSJ Poll.)

    • Women less than 50 years old lean toward Mrs. Clinton, 51-30.

    • Black and Hispanic women overwhelmingly back Mrs. Clinton.

    • Among white women with a college degree, Mrs. Clinton leads by 18 points.

Finally, there was the On The Street Interview I saw:

Question: Why do you think Hillary is qualified to be president?

Answer: She is qualified because she is a woman.

Or, if you need further proof that we are surrounded by non-thinking voters, go to this link...
