    Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Edwards Jackson, age 73, a resident of 208 Cowan Street, Washington, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Steve Hill.

    Mrs. Jackson was born in Beaufort County on March 9, 1943 to the late Robert and Emma Lucille Knox Edwards. On December 11, 1970 she married William Russell Jackson, Sr. who preceded her in death on December 9, 2014. She was retired from National Spinning and was a member of First Church of Christ.

    Survivors include her son, William "Rusty" Jackson, Jr. and wife Wendi of Washington and their children, Kaylee, Brittany, Tucker and Miller, one daughter, Connie J. Keech and husband Joey of Washington and their children, David, J.C., and Reed, one great grandchild, Reed Keech, Jr., two brothers, Charles Edwards, Andy Edwards, three sisters, Emma Jean Gresham, Kathy Boyd and Freida Edwards.

    She is preceded in death by her infant child.
