    Rosemary Penn Coleman Jones, age 79, a resident of Belhaven, NC, died Monday December 19, 2016 at her home.

    A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at St. James Episcopal Church in Belhaven Friday December 23, 2016 and will be officiated by Father Jim Lupton.

    Mrs. Jones was born in Oklahoma County, OK on October 31, 1937 to the late Ray W. and Josephine Flanagan Penn. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance from St. Mary of the Woods College. On September 1, 1990 she married Leslie Lee "Butch" Jones. Mrs. Jones was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was a devoted mother who loved her family.

    Survivors include her husband Leslie Lee "Butch" Jones, five children, Thomas Matthew Coleman and wife Tracey, Jennifer Briggs, Barbara Meadows, David Raymond Coleman and wife Pamela, Peter Stanley Coleman, two step children, Leslie Lee Jones, Jr., Marvin Sea Jones, a daughter-in-law Kris Coleman Penniall, thirteen grandchildren, Katherine, Grace, Matthew, Heather, Robert, Lucas, Cody, Max, Chloe, Tessa, Chip, Holly, Marvin, and three nephews, Peter Gill, Raymond Gill and Jim Gill.

    She is preceded in death by her first husband, the father of her six children, David Lee Coleman on December 5, 1984, a son, Stephen Mitchell Coleman and a sister, Nina Josephine Penn Gill.
