Died: March 31, 2017

    Mr. Willis Robert Landing, age 63, a resident of 74 Buck Country Manor, Chocowinity, passed Friday, March 31, 2017 at Ridgewood Manor Rehabilitation Center.

    The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, April 3, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.

    A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 3, 2017 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Rev. J.T. Edwards.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: Bryan Ange, Randy Ange, Eddie Edwards, Jr., Joseph Edwards, Michael Mins, and Allen Mitchell.

    Mr. Landing was born in Perquimans County on July 10, 1953. He was the son of the late W. D. Landing and Edith Mae Asbell Landing. Mr. Landing was manager of Wild Wood Hog Farm. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening.

    Mr. Landing is survived by "the Love of his Life", Margaret Fornes of the home; son, Jason Landing of Belvidere, N.C.; "daughter of the heart", Darniece Williams-Solomon and wife, Lynda Williams-Solomon of Rochester, N.Y.; "son of the heart", Cecil Williams, Jr. of Greenville, N.C.; brother, Jimmy White and wife, Joyce of Tyner, N.C.; sisters, Annette Parrish of Edenton, N.C., Eloise Coltrain of Roper, N.C. and his beloved dog, Teddy.
