World's Coolest Comics and Toys Invites Entire Community to Free Comic Book Day May 6, 2017 | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Greenville, NC     Locally owned and operated World's Coolest Comics and Toys announced that they will be participating in Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, May 6th, 2017. This is the third year they have set about to offer the community a fun, family oriented event that caters to new and versed readers alike.

    "Free Comic Book Day is a great event for all. The variety of stories that are told in modern comics today ensure that readers of all ages - children, teens, and adults - can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations," said J.R. Verheul, co-owner of World's Coolest Comics and Toys.

    Free Comic Book Day is an annual event that celebrates it's sixteenth birthday this year. This event is held on the first Saturday in May every year, and has proved success continually, introducing new readers to the wonderment and adventure found in comics. "There are so many amazing stories and characters to discover in comics, and we can't wait to share them."

    This is an especially exciting year for Free Comic Book Day at World's Coolest Comics and Toys. Gamestop is participating with video game stations set up for free play in store on some of the hottest games out, and they are giving away a free copy of Telltale's Guardian's of the Galaxy. There will be special guests, food, exclusive deals and of course tons of fun and excitement.
