The Mating Dance

       by Toby Bronstein

She waits for him patiently,

Knowing he's near, that he will come to her.

She's beautiful in her gold and black,

Confident in her seduction, hungry in her need.

He edges closer, watching her legs,

Long and lean, as she lifts her body, waiting.

Her scent is strong. He weakens to her power

And approaches.

She resists, and startled, he cautiously backs away.

Again and again, she withdraws, tormenting him.

Her allure overwhelms him. He must possess her.

At any cost.

Stronger in his desire,

His lust for her overrides any caution.

Finally, sweet embrace; the coupling sublime until...

She has him for breakfast
