    Mr. Anthony Glenn Edwards, age 62, a resident of 6474 Leary Mills Road, Chocowinity, NC died Saturday May 26, 2018 at his home.

    A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Pastor Henry Horne. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Anthony's father, I.H. Edwards located at 6474 Leary Mills Road, Chocowinity, NC which is in Pitt County.

    Glenn was born in Beaufort County on March 6, 1956 son of Israel Harding "I.H." Edwards, Jr. who survives and the late Charlotte Faye Boyd Edwards. He was a master craftsman boat builder with Iconic Marine Group of Washington and attended Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Chocowinity.

    Surviving along with his father I.H. Edwards of Chocowinity includes his son: Christopher Glenn Edwards and his wife Katherine of Chocowinity; a step-son: Steven Manning and his wife Chrissy of Washington a brother: Vernon Scott Edwards and his wife Sue of Pinetown and three grandchildren: Savannah, Lilly and Branson Edwards.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 38, Chocowinity, NC 27817.
