    Mrs. Kathleen Hill Barr, age 92, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Thursday December 13, 2018 at River Trace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

    Funeral services will be held 1:45 PM Sunday December 16, 2018 at Haw Branch Church of Christ and will be officiated by Jason Kirkman. Burial will follow in Haw Branch Church Cemetery. Curtis Avery, Jamie Stokes, Willie Crisp, Jeff Hardy, Ron Haselden, and Kelvin Harding

    Mrs. Barr was born in Beaufort County on March 13, 1926 to the late Milton H. Hill and Mollie Agnes Cooper Hill. She was a graduate of Chocowinity High School. Mrs. Barr loved being outside.

    Survivors include a daughter, Dianne W. Hamrick (Ed), a daughter in law, Carol Barr both of Chocowinity, seven grandchildren, Kim Connell, Wayne Wilkinson, Tony Wilkinson, Dee Dee Anderson, Brad Barr, Crystal Campbell, Angie Barr, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Myron Odell Barr and her son, Jerome Barr.

    The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM at Haw Branch Church of Christ.
