    Mr. William Stanley Warren, age 75, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Wednesday December 12, 2018 at his home.

    A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday December 16, 2018 at Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Chocowinity.

    Mr. Warren was born on January 25, 1943 to the late Jasper Warren and Annie Myrtle Mills Warren. He graduated from Chocowinity High School and went on to attend NC State University and Wilson Tech. Mr. Warren retired as a Wildlife Resource Commission Captain. He was an owner of Warrens Sport Headquarters and Lewis & Warren Family Farms. Mr. Warren served on the Social Services Board, the Beaufort County Board of Education and the FSA Board.

    Survivors include his wife, Carol Lewis Warren of the home, a son, Tracy Warren and girlfriend Yvonne Pleasant of Chocowinity and Durham, a daughter, Zina Warren Burbage and husband David of Belhaven, a granddaughter, Davey Ann Burbage Little and husband Phillip of Winterville, three grandsons, Gray Burbage and wife Kayla of Bath, Brian Warren and wife Whitney of Belhaven, Will Warren of Chocowinity, a great grandson, Tyner Little, a brother, Samuel Warren and wife Pamela of Myrtle Beach, SC, and a sister in law Carol B. Warren of Chocowinity.

    He is preceded in death by his brother Gary Warren.

    The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday December 16, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home.
