    Englebertha "Bertha" Agnes Krnavek Harding, age 95, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Wednesday January 2, 2019 at her home.

    A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 5, 2019 at Harding Family Cemetery on Harding Lane in Chocowinity and will be officiated by Jason Kirkman and Kent Gurganus. Pallbearers include her grandsons and great grandson, Chad Hewitt, Kenny McConville II, Tyler Harding, George Jones, Gabe Grissom, David Harding, Wes Whitley and Craig Harding.

    Mrs. Harding was born in Pharr, Tx on December 31, 1923 to the late Henry Joe Krnavek and Agnes Elizabeth Jasek Krnavek. She attended catholic school in Texas. On December 20, 1945 she married Clarence McCoy Harding who preceded her in death on June 14, 1999. Mrs. Harding was a hard-working woman who loved being outside, working in the flower garden, riding the golf cart, fishing, and traveling, especially to visit her sister Hattie Unland and her niece Kandy Cox and other family in Texas. She was a member of Haw Branch Church of Christ.

    Survivors include her two sons, Henry Harding and wife Gale of Chocowinity, Kelvin Harding and wife Wendy of Chocowinity, a daughter, Katie Jones of the homeplace, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

    In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Grissom, two brothers, Englehart Krnavek, Isidore Krnavek, a sister, Hattie Unland, a great grandchild, Logan Jones and several half siblings.

    The family will receive friends at the home of her son Kelvin Harding at 1519 Edwards Road, Chocowinity.
