    Mrs. Christina Leigh White Schatz, age 65, a resident of Ridgewood Lane, Washington, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    No services will be held.

    Mrs. Schatz was born in Ft. Bragg, N.C. on June 23, 1953. She was the daughter of Mildred White Gregory and the late Benton White. Mrs. Schatz was a retired lab technician with Vidant Beaufort Hospital, retiring in 2011. In her spare time, she loved to read and watch the Food Channel.

    In 1989, she married Robert Harold Schatz, who survives.

    Surviving with the husband are her son, Robert Benton "Ben' Schatz and his wife, Maria Woolard of the home; her mother, Mildred White Gregory of Hope Mills, N.C.; two brothers, Clark White of Benson, Stanley white of Hope Mills; and a sister, Carla Beasley of Benson.
