    William Cooper Clark, 74, of Washington, NC, died July 1, 2019, in Greenville, NC following a short illness.

    Bill is survived by his wife, Rebecca Clark of Washington, NC, his daughters, Stephanie Sharp and Nicole Willis of Austin, TX, Son-in-law Shawn Sharp, Step Son William Kelley and Daughter-in-law Dilyana Kelley of Castle Rock, CO. Bill was a loving Grandfather to 7 Grandchildren: Sidney, Jackson and Jordan Scruggs, Nora Willis, Spencer and Joshua Sharp, and Liam Kelley.

    Bill was born March 29, 1945 in Memphis, TN. In his younger years, he lived with his Mother, Marjorie May Pierce, and Father, William C. Clark and spent summers with his Grandmothers and Aunts in Holly Springs, MS. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Bill had a long career in the pharmaceutical industry. He lived and traveled extensively throughout the world and across the United States. Some of his favorite places to call home were Canada, England, and his beloved Ireland. The last 11 years have been spent in his adopted hometown of Washington, NC.

    Bill loved traveling and had various passions throughout his life like bicycle racing, golf, boating, riding his Harley and spending time with his much-loved friends and family.

    A celebration of the life of William Cooper Clark will be held Wednesday, July 3rd, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the home of Scott Campbell and Bill Sykes at the Firehouse Lofts at 213 N. Market Street in Washington, NC

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom for Friends, Arts of the Pamlico Roofing Fund, or a charity of your choice.
