    Mrs. Cecilia Magrane Lilley Swain, age 80, a resident of Bath, NC died Wednesday July 17, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday July 20, 2019 at St. Clair's Church of Christ and will be officiated by Craig Hagen, Cleve Edwards, and Tim Stamper. Burial will follow in the St. Clair's Church Cemetery. Josh Spencer, John Swain, Steven Swain, Adam Mason, Timothy Hines, and Terry Woolard will serve as Pallbearers.

    Mrs. Swain was born on October 22, 1938 to the late Cecil Thomas Lilley and Magrane Wallace Lilley. She was a 1957 graduate of Bath High School. On November 15, 1958 she married Elwood Taylor Swain. Mrs. Swain was a tour guide for the Bath Historical Society. She enjoyed Collecting Raggedy Anne Dolls, collecting pitchers, and cooking. Mrs. Swain was a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

    Survivors include her husband Elwood T. Swain, a daughter, Diana Swain Hines and husband Timothy of Bath, a son, Brian Swain of Bath, two grandchildren, Kassie Mason and husband Adam, Brianna Swain, a brother, Cecil Lilley and wife April of Harkers Island, and a sister, Velsa Spencer and husband Wilson of Faison.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday July 19, 2019 at St. Clair's Church of Christ.
