    Pauline Ambrose Windley, 85, of Pinetown, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Annie (Silverthorne) Ambrose; her twin sister, Christine Ambrose; brother, Ernest Ambrose, and three sisters Louvadia Everett, Elva Rae Bowen, Mavis Mohorn.

    Pauline is survived by, her husband of 69 years Leonard Windley, of the home; four sons, Brien Windley and wife Nancy, Gary Windley and wife Pat, Charles Windley and wife Michelle and John Windley and wife Susan, all of Pinetown; brother, Frank Ambrose and wife Dean of Washington; sister Jackie Boyd and husband Gary of Chocowinity; five grandsons, Glen Windley, Adam Fyle and wife Edwina, Russell Windley and wife Ruth, Eric Smith and Brian Smith; two granddaughters, Emily Windley and Megan Windley; five great granddaughters, Farrah Fyle, Bristol Fyle, Rachel Windley, Briley Jamison and Adeline Jamison and two great grandsons, Cameron Windley and Ryan Windley.

    She will be most remembered for her love of flowers and family, especially her grandchildren.

    The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, from 1-2 pm at Washington Funeral and Cremation, Hillside Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3 pm at Everett's Community Cemetery in Pinetown with Dennis Davis officiating. Her grandsons and nephew, Preston Jarvis, will serve as pallbearers.
