April 02, 1949 - May 30, 2020
    Patty Sue Bell, 71, of Pinetown, passed away peacefully at the home of her sister on Saturday, May 30, 2020, surrounded by her family.

    Patty Sue was born April 2, 1949 to the late John Mitchell Bell and Gladys Odell Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parent's, stepfather Richard Jackson, daughter Robin Hodges, and granddaughters Chelsea Hullings and Jessica Hodges. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hodges (Paul Windley), son Bobby Ray Hodges, bonus children, Brandon Paul Hodges (Logan and daughter Hallie) and Stephanie Fulford (Joe and daughter Hannah): two sisters, Sylvia Carawan(Randy Sr.), Kay Sheppard; brothers, Johnny Bell Jr.(Machelle) and Tunnie Nobles Sr.(Ann Marie); and multiple nieces and nephews.

    Patty Sue loved her family, music and her fur babies Prince, Bear, and Channel. She attended Alligood Church of God.

    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Bateman officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery with Mitchell Bell, Jay Moore, Keith Moore, Vince Hodges, Tunnie Nobles Jr. and David Tyson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends at the home of Sylvia and Randy Carawan on Monday June 1, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at 6026 N. Boyd Road, Pinetown.

    A special thanks to Sylvia and Randy Carawan Sr. for the love and support they provided so that Patty Sue's last days were filled with love and family.
