    Douglas Earl Cutler, 65, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Earl Cutler and his wife, Ann Cutler.

    Doug is survived by his mother, Doris Tetterton Cutler; three sisters, Janet Cutler and husband Al Woolard, Anne Davenport and husband Charlie, and Sharon Amick and husband Thomas; three step sons, Matt Rogers and wife Deanna D'Amore, Alex Rogers and wife Paula and Forrest Rogers and wife Courtney; seven step grandchildren; one niece, Jennifer and three nephews, Brandon, Bradley, and Chad.

    A man of many talents, he was an acquired musician, having been the church organist for St. Peters Episcopal Church for many years. He had a natural eye for flower arranging, owning a florist shop, The Secret Garden, for many years and then preparing arrangements by request from his home. He enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, and spending time with his family. He was a quiet man, but strong in character. Doug was known and loved by many, everyone who knew him had a story to share, he never met a stranger.

    A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, when COVID restrictions are released to allow for large gatherings.
