    Mr. Fredrick Porter Sutliff Jr., age 90, a resident of 105 Waters Way, Washington, passed away Saturday July 25, 2020 at Ridgewood Manor.

    Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 1, 2020 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Rev. Ralph Brown. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Inurnment with military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newton, Pennsylvania will be held at a later date.

    Mr. Sutliff was born March 24, 1930 in Rockingham County to the late Fredrick Porter Sutliff Sr. and Chancey Fowler Sutliff. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a police officer with the Nassau County Police Department in New York. Mr. Sutliff was a member of the International Police Association and Chocowinity United Methodist Church.

    Survivors include his companion and love of his life, Betty Lou Furlough of the home, three daughters, Kathleen Finnegan and husband Chris of Selden, New York, Barbara Kayser of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Debra Sutliff of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, step daughter, Debra Walker of Bonita Springs, Florida, step son, Steven Schreiber of Flanders, New York, three brothers, Robert Sutliff and wife Carolyn of Quakentown, Pennsylvania, Jerry Sutliff and wife Pat of Quakentown, Pennsylvania, Larry Sutliff and wife Ann of Horsham, Pennsylvania, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Fredrick P. Sutliff III.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
