    Mrs. Sally Reason Edmondson Holton, age 92, a resident of Pantego, NC died Friday November 20, 2020 at her home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday November 22, 2020 at Davis Cemetery officiated by Roland Bell. Pallbearers will be R. A. Phillips, Charles Rose, Vernon Bell, Eric Bell, Casey Bell and Rex LeFever, Jr.

    Mrs. Holton will be available for viewing Saturday afternoon, November 21, 2020, until 7:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

    Mrs. Holton was born in Edgecombe County on September 15, 1928. Following high school, she attended Louisburg College for two years and in 1949 graduated from East Carolina University. She married Nathaniel Holton who preceded her in death on July 23, 1989. For thirty-six years she was a primary school teacher in Edgecombe and Beaufort Counties. Following her retirement, she volunteered at Northeast Elementary School. Mrs. Holton was a dedicated member of Wenona Church of Christ and taught Sunday School there for forty-seven years. She was a member of the professional association, NEA.

    Survivors include a sister: Lynn Tucker of Raleigh; a brother: Edwin Edmondson of Pollocksville and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased along with her parents by two brothers: Walter Edmondson and Robert Edmondson.
