    Mr. Phillip "Phil" Andrew Barbour, age 33, a resident of Washington, NC passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020.

    A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery, officiated by Mike Chandler. Pallbearers will be Kyle Allen, Thomas Griffin, Justin Keech, Marvin Mason, Shane Motteler and Will Waters. The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery and at his home.

    Phil was born in Beaufort County on September 5, 1987, son of Timothy Abbott Barbour and Karen Elaine Clark Barbour. Growing up, he enjoyed skateboarding and hanging out with his friends. He graduated from Washington High School in 2005. He went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study business. In 2009, he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. After graduating, he worked in Wilmington, NC before returning to Washington, NC. He worked the last five years at idX Impressions as a shipping crew leader.

    Phil is survived by his mother: Karen Clark Barbour; his father: Timothy Barbour and wife, Edie Barbour; his sister: Samantha Barbour; maternal grandparents: John and Ann Clark of Pinetown and his paternal grandmother: Dorothy Barbour of Washington; his aunts and uncles: Michael and Gloria Phelps of Washington, Tony Barbour of Dunlap, TN and Tom and Melanie Lyons of Farmville and his cousins: Mike Phelps, Kayla Barbour, Sara-Anne Glosson and Clark Lyons. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Norwood Barbour.
