On February 4th, 2021 at 7:15am stock prices on coffee and chocolate dropped dramatically, due to the passing of Louise Daniels.

As a highly regarded woman of Christ, Mrs. Daniels was born in Hatteras N.C. on June 10, 1921. She was a spunky, strong-willed, and elegant woman all wrapped in to one. Mrs. Daniels had overcome a lot of obstacles in her life. Her strong faith is what carried her through and she never lost this strong quality. This little tan, barefooted, island girl was mischievous in her younger years, as described in stories. As she blossomed into a beautiful woman, she married and had four children Joan, Susie, Ted, and Donna. When she grew older, she never lost her humor, and she always loved to laugh. What stood out most about her was her love for Jesus. Grandmama was one tough cookie and played a major role in all of our lives. Always wanting to help and always seeing the good in people. Her life here left footprints in our souls and fingerprints on our hearts.

Mrs. Daniels was predeceased by her husband, Allen Theodore Daniels, her son, Allen Theodore Daniels Jr. fondly remembered as "Ted", a daughter Susan Daniels Powell affectionately known as "Susie", and a special nephew, Raymond Newsome. Mrs. Daniels, at the age of 99 leaves many love ones to carry on her special legacy, a daughter Joan Hudnell and husband Leon of Belhaven NC, another daughter, Donna Kay Daniels of Chocowinity NC, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of many more family and friends. A celebration of her life will take place at the Belhaven Assembly of God, officiated by Dwight Boyd at 3pm on Sunday February 7, 2021. Pall bearers are her grandsons: Anthony Hudnell, Jr. Hudnell, Chris Hudnell, Joseph Hudnell, Brett Carawan, Blake Daniels and Eric Daniels. Honorary pall bearers are Kaden Miller and Trenton Carawan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Louise Daniels to Belhaven Assembly of God, where she was a long time member. Due to the pandemic, the family understands if you do not wish to attend, but the service is open to family and friends. Social distancing guidelines followed.
