New poll: 69% of French say Islamo-leftism is a major threat | Eastern NC Now

The chickens are coming home to roost

ENCNow

According to a new poll, 69 percent of the French people say that Islamo-leftism is a major threat to their country.  The term refers to Islamic migrants and the left wing politicians who embrace them.  In particular it applies to politicians refusing to take hard positions against Islamic extremists for fear of offending Muslims generally.

The poll was conducted by the respected Odoxa-Backbone organization.  An earlier poll by Ifop found that 61 per cent of French adults found Islam to be incompatible with French society.

This comes as Marine LePen, leader of the populist anti-immigration National Rally, leads in polls for the next presidential election.
