    Tex Ovan Little, 81,a resident of Washington, NC passed peacefully on March 18, 2021 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice Center in Greenville, NC. He was born March 16, 1940 in Whiteville, NC on March 16, 1940, the son of the late Semer and Essie (Edwards). He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Hubert and Danny Little.

    Tex is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Toler Little, children: Darrell Little and girlfriend Rosa of St. Paul, Stuart Little and wife Tracy of Raleigh and Brad Jones of Washington, grandchildren: Matthew Little, Gayle Little, Kirkland Little, Preston Little and Noah Little, one sister: Nelda Stocks of Whiteville and several nieces and nephews.

    Tex served his country in the United States Army and had a successful career as a sewing machine mechanic. He also works in law enforcement.

    In retirement he enjoyed working on cars, being with his family and the mountains and beaches in his home state of North Carolina. There will be a private family memorial service.
