January 29, 1952 – April 15, 2021
    Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" Jewell Silverthorne Elks Johnson, age 69, a resident of 134 East Water Street, Washington died Thursday evening, April 15, 2021 at Autumnfield.

    A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, officiated by Steve Hill. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

    Mrs. Johnson was born on January 29, 1952, daughter of the late Jay Garland Jewell and Alma Dean Whitley Jewell. On November 9, 2016, she married Bruce Albert Johnson who survives. She was a member of First Church of Christ in Washington and attended Eastern Pines Church of Christ. Mrs. Johnson loved to read and spending time with her grandchildren.

    In addition to her husband, Bruce, of the home, she is survived by her daughter: Stephanie Silverthorne Hudson and husband, Jonathan of Blounts Creek; her son: Jason David Silverthorne and wife, Jackie of Chocowinity; her grandchildren: Madison Jewell Hudson, Mallory Grace Hudson, Annalynn Silverthorne and EllaRae Silverthorne; her sister: Brenda Jewell Woolard and husband, Holton of Washington; her stepson: Justin Henry Johnson and wife, Ashley of Wake Forest; her stepdaughter: Kinsey Johnson Ichimura and husband, Nobu of Cosa Mesa, CA; and her step-grandsons: Ashton Henry Johnson and Austin Gene Johnson.

    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Jay Garland Jewell and two sisters: Linda Lou Jewell, and Glenda Drew Jewell.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at the home of her daughter, Stephanie Hudson located at 2020 Gilead Shores Road, Blounts Creek.

    Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is honored to serve the Johnson family.
