Rebecca Gail Keech “Becky” Waters | Eastern NC Now

   Mrs. Rebecca Gail Keech “Becky” Waters, age 58, a resident of 8350 Old 97 Road, Pantego, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 24, 2012, at her home.

   A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012, at West Belhaven Church of Christ officiated by Bob Beltz, David Linton and Ron Bousquet.

   Mrs. Becky was born in Beaufort County on October 1, 1953, daughter of the late Oscar Manning Keech and the late Mary Elizabeth Midgette Keech. She was a 1972 graduate of Bath High School and married James Russell Waters who survives. Mrs. Becky was a member of West Belhaven Church of Christ and a former member of Long Acre Volunteer Fire Department.

   Mrs. Becky is survived by her husband: Russell of the home; a daughter: Gail Elaine Rossi and her husband Anthony of Pantego; a son: James Russell Waters, Jr. and his wife Brandy of Chesterfield, VA; three sisters: Daisy Riddick of Elizabeth City, NC, Barbara Waters Gurkin of Pinetown and Retha Furcron of Cookeville, TN, and four grandchildren: Thomas Arthur Sparks, John Ray Sparks, Jr., Hannah Faith Waters and Rylee Grace Waters. Mrs. Becky was predeceased by her brother Travis H. Keech and two infant brothers.

   The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 1:45 PM Sunday before the memorial service at the church and other times at the home.
