    Mr. Harmon Thomas Hollis, age 86, a resident of Washington, NC died Friday July 16, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday July 19, 2021 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. The service will be officiated by Pastors Linda Taylor and Harris Ray Alligood. Burial of cremated remains will be held later in the Hollis Family Cemetery.

    Mr. Hollis was born in Beaufort County on May 23, 1935, son of the late Harmon J. Hollis and the late Nancy Elizabeth Alligood Hollis. He retired as a salesman at Tankard Distributing Company in Washington. A hobby of his was woodworking and he shared his crafts with many. Mr. Hollis attended Winds of Change Church in Bath.

    Survivors include a son: Richard Lee Hollis of Washington; two sisters: his twin, Nancy L. Hollis, and Peggy H. Woolard both of Washington; and his companion Lynda H. Alligood of Washington. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Winds of Change Church, Building Fund, 207 Front Street, Bath, NC 27808.
