Donna Sue Davis | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Donna Sue Davis, age 56 a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday January 1, 2022.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday January 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be officiated by Ethan Coltrain.

    Donna was born in Beaufort County on March 21, 1965 to David Bernard Davis, Jr. and Mary Sue Tuten Davis. She graduated from East Carolina University with her Master's in Social Work in 2005. Donna worked for Trillium Health Resources as a Care Coordinator. She was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. Donna enjoyed crafting, painting ceramics, watching True Crime shows, keeping up with friends on Facebook, cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her family.

    Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Lilley of Washington and Joshawn Dejesus of Vanceboro, her significant other of almost 30 years, Gary Lilley, her mother, Mary Sue Davis, her brother, David B. Davis, III of Pantego, a sister Lora Colbert and husband Wayne of Pantego, five nieces and nephews, Chelsey Berry, Sydney Spencer, John Colbert, Jr., Matthew Davis, and Jeremy Boothe.

    She is preceded in death by her father, David B. Davis, Jr.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday January 6, 2022 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.
