During Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Run, Epstein’s Lawyer Asked Couple Who Had Managed ‘Pedophile Island’ To Swear Bill Clinton Was Never There | Eastern North Carolina Now

According to The Daily Mail, in 2016, while Hillary Clinton was running for president, Jeffrey Epstein's attorney contacted the couple who managed Epstein's private island in the Caribbean between 1999 to 2007 and asked them to sign a sworn affidavit declaring they had never seen former President Bill Clinton on Little St. James, reportedly known by locals as "Pedophile Island."

Darren Indyke reportedly contacted Miles and Cathy Alexander, according to The Daily Mail's source, and not only asked them to state they had not seen Bill Clinton on the island during their tenure there, but also to stated that they were not aware of him having visited the island even when they were absent themselves.

"It was during the 2016 presidential campaign which was won by Trump. There was a worry that the link between Epstein and Clinton and in particular the island could be used against Hillary, the source explained.

Years prior to that exchange, just before the Alexanders left Epstein's employ, Indyke allegedly asked Miles Alexander to meet him on the nearby island of St. Thomas and bring the log books showing all the arrival and departure records for Little St. James. "These ledgers were handed to Indyke by Mr. Alexander, who never saw them again," The Daily Mail reported, asking. "Why did this happen? Presumably the records would have contained names of Epstein's VIP friends and girls by whom the tycoon liked to be surrounded. Wasn't that evidence? Where are the records now?"

Bill Clinton has denied ever being on Little St. James, but Epstein's "little black book" of contacts "contained several email addresses and no fewer than 21 telephone numbers for Clinton," The Daily Mail noted. Additionally, between February 2002 and November 2003 Clinton's name as a passenger was on flight logs for Epstein's planes at least 26 times.

In April 2011, on a phone call with one of her attorneys, Jack Scarola, Virginia Roberts (later Guiffre) stated that Bill Clinton had indeed been on the island

The Daily Beast reported in August 2020 that according to their source, Indyke was the "in-house counsel to Epstein's enterprise. ... He was involved in virtually all of the legal work Epstein had. He's probably the person with the most knowledge about Epstein's money, business relationships, assets, and legal affairs. ... He's a mystery in part because he's been with Epstein so long. He's been Epstein's confidant and aide for decades. If he had a life outside of Epstein, it was a very private life."

The New York Post reported on Saturday:

Convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell will no longer fight to protect the identity of eight johns who allegedly had sex with young women she and her billionaire pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein procured for them.

A lawyer for Maxwell stated in a letter to federal Judge Loretta Preska this week that she would no longer object to the identities of the "John Does" in a 2015 civil lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre.
