Eve Elaine Shackelford Conn | Eastern NC Now

    Ms. Eve Elaine Shackelford Conn, age 84, a resident of Grimesland died Tuesday February 15, 2022 at her home.

    A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday February 19 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 John Small Avenue, Washington. Dr. Richard Sheriff will officiate the service.

    Ms. Conn was born in Virginia on November 3, 1937 to the late Legh Richmond Watts Shackelford and Pauline Brown Shackelford Jacobson. She worked at Cintas for 37 years retiring in 2017. Ms. Conn enjoyed playing games on her tablet and coloring pictures. She enjoyed watching TV, especially game shows. She also loved spending time with her family.

    Survivors include six children, Robin Conn and husband Donald, Terre Rowland and husband Steve, Kim Hobbs and David Syth, Michael Conn, Kevin Conn, Alan Conn; nine grandchildren, Michelle Norris, Melanie Norris, Sh'va (Bryan) BenYacov, Tory Rowland, Michael Hobbs, Christopher Hobbs, Jacqueline Hobbs, Nicole Sassin, Shawn Conn; thirteen great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Norris, Blake Norris, Alex Rowland, Aaron Rowland, Lauren Rowland, Meaghan Rowland, Tristan Rowland, Mason Hobbs, Carter Hobbs, Madison Hobbs, Noah Hobbs, Lena Sassin, Kirin McFarland, and two great great grandchildren, Raelynn Dail and Aleah Castro. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Alexander.
