A Far Left Radical & A Dropout: The Democrat's 13th District Dilemma | Eastern NC Now

It looks like the Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot once again by putting up a radical leftist and a quitter as their candidates for North Carolina’s 13th District.

ENCNow
    Good morning,

It looks like the Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot once again by putting up a radical leftist and a quitter as their candidates for North Carolina's 13th District.

The new congressional district covers Johnston, southern Wake, northern Harnett and western Wayne counties, an area that includes a mix of urban and rural voters who won't be wooed by far-left pipe dreams. However, the Democrats believe their best shot at a win is through either Wiley Nickel and Sam Searcy.

So who are these "star" candidates? We'll show you:

Wiey Nickel has been spending his time in the North Carolina General Assembly pushing for far-left ideas that are way too radical for the people of the 13th District. He voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, supports legislation that will federalize our elections and opposes "Right to Work" legislation.

Sam Searcy is a Democrat from Wake County. That's all we know about him because he quit his job before it began.

"The Democrats are doing our job for us. When it comes to choosing between a far-left radical or a state senate dropout, the people of NC-13 will instead pick a Republican who will fight to revive our economy, empower parents and keep America safe." - RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley
