But customers and the economy as a whole suffer when business leaders inject a political agenda into their calculations. Andy Puzder served more than 16 years as CEO of CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. Puzder discussed the dangers of “woke” capitalism during an interview with Mitch Kokai of the John Locke Foundation at the 2022 Carolina Liberty Conference.
