With respect to the leaked opinion not yet written for ratification regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's revisiting the original decision of Roe v Wade, whence now nonstop protests have erupted in neighborhoods where U.S. Supreme Court justices live, exhibiting the firm intent to intimidate these officers of the highest court in the land: What action should the federal authorities take?
  Do nothing ... Protests are a fixture of a free society.
  Enforce the law ... Federal codes exist to prohibit any intimidation through the pubic harassment of federal judges, especially Supreme Court justices.
  I have no idea, however, northern Virginia School Board Members must be shielded from protests at all costs.

Raleigh, NC – This week, state House Majority Leader John Bell (R-Wayne) filed HB 1001, Uniformed Civil Service Act, to provide employment protections for members of the North Carolina Civil Air Patrol
Under state law, election officials must release the number of provisional ballots cast in each county by noon two days after each election.
As North Carolina Council for Women members of diverse backgrounds and experiences from across the great state of North Carolina, we condemn the leaked draft version of the Supreme Court’s majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson.
Raleigh, N.C. – The day after the May 17 primary, the State Board of Elections will randomly select precincts, early voting sites, and absentee-by-mail ballots to be counted by hand in each county to confirm accuracy of the results counted by machine.
The 2022 statewide primary election is Tuesday, May 17, and the State Board of Elections wants to be sure that media representatives and voters have answers to common questions about Election Day and post-election processes.
Attached please find the vote totals for each precinct at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.
