Floyd E. Gibbs, III | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Floyd E. Gibbs, III, age 53, a resident of Clara Manor, Washington, NC, died Friday, November 2, 2012. The family will receive friends Monday, November 5, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E., Washington, NC.

    Mr. Gibbs was born in Japan on February 10, 1959 son of the late Floyd E. Gibbs, Jr. and Gloria Entwistle Gibbs. He was the parts manager for Park Boat Company where he worked for twenty years. Mr. Gibbs was a member of Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. He served his country in the US Air Force.

   Mr. Gibbs is survived by his sister, Patricia Gibbs Woolard and husband Marty R. Woolard of Washington, his niece, Amanda W. Crockrell and great niece, Caitlyn R. Crockrell.

   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jo Ann Gibbs.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
