    Mr. Gregory Harriell Latham, age 65, a resident of Washington, died Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.

    Mr. Latham was born in Washington on August 2, 1956. He was the son of the late Edgar Harriell Latham and Minnie Reason Latham. Mr. Latham was self-employed in the home improvement business. He was a hard worker who enjoyed helping others. Mr. Latham was a blood and organ donor. He attended the Jamesville Christian Church.

    In 1975, he married the former Sandra Edwards, who survives.

    Surviving with this wife are his daughter, Kristy Ball (James) of Greenville; son, Gregory Latham (Brandi) of Jamesville; sister, Pam Stocks (Johnnie) of Bethel; two brothers, Kenny Latham (Teresa) of Bethel, Richard Latham (Stacey) of Greenville; four grandchildren, Alexis Ball, Ashton Ball, Caine Latham, Claire Latham; and special friends (whom he thought of as brothers) Steve Somers (Michelle) of Bath, Jerry Somers (Jennifer) of Washington.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Latham was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Latham and his aunt (who raised him) Irene Roberson.

    The family will receive friends at other times at his home, 811 Aycock Street, Washington.
