Wade Junior Lilley, age 66, a resident of Bath, NC, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.

To honor Wade's wishes no services are scheduled.

Wade was born in Beaufort County on October 27, 1955, the son of the late Matthew Mayo Lilley and Martha Taylor Lilley.

Wade had a strong passion for music. He greatly enjoyed putting a smile on his family's face as he played his guitar and sang.

However, his greatest passion was devoted to loving his wife Kat, his one true soul- mate.

With grace and unconditional love, Wade dedicated his life to their three cherished children he helped raise. With his beloved fur baby Diamond at his side, Wade achieved great happiness being with the friends and family he so dearly loved.

Wade enjoyed spending his days fishing and working in his yard, after working as a welder for 35 years.

The family gives thanks to everyone for their continued prayers and thoughts. They like to leave the following prayer.

"Oh, Thy guidance we so pray, Thy loving arms of comfort we seek.

Hold us close to ease these moments of our beloved grief.

As Thy wipes away our sadden tears

Thee favors us Thy music of Angels, so to soothe our broken fears.

Our souls rejoice and dance in Thy presence.

Praising Thy love, we bow and give reverence.

Guitar in hand, a smile upon thee lamb's face

Our spirited Angel flies free unto our Father's love and grace."

As Thy shepard, He guides thee lamb to springs of the water of life.

Wiping a way every tear from thee crying eyes. (Revelation 7:17)
