New physician joins Vidant Family Medicine - Edenton | Eastern North Carolina Now

    GREENVILLE     Dr. Sam Moskowitz is now practicing with Vidant Medical Group at Vidant Family Medicine - Edenton.

    Vidant Family Medicine - Edenton takes a patient-and-family centered approach, which offers guidance on developing better chronic disease management programs, enhancing patient engagement, and improving patient outreach. A patient-centered medical home practice offers high levels of accessibility, excellent communication among patients, clinicians, and staff, and access to the latest technology to prescribe, communicate, track results, and monitor patient performance.

    Moskowitz completed his residency in family medicine at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center. He has special interests in providing preventive and acute care, as well as chronic care including hypertension, diabetes, asthma and heart and kidney disease.

    "I enjoy using the patient-centered medical home model of primary care to ensure patients achieve their health-oriented goals," said Moskowitz.
