Democrat President Joe Biden faced backlash from mainstream news reporters Thursday night after U.S. Marines were positioned behind him during a highly polarizing political speech in which the president demonized millions of Americans as being "extremists" who posed a threat to the country.

Biden repeatedly had to clear his throat and coughed throughout the speech as he sought to blame former President Donald Trump for the nation's problems, despite Trump being out of power for almost two years and the Democrats controlling the entire federal government.

"On federal land, flanked by US Marines, President Biden ramps up his argument against his political opposition, warning of the perils of Trump-inspired politics," White House Correspondents Association President Steven Portnoy, who works for CBS News Radio, tweeted.

"Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical," CNN host Brianna Keilar, whose husband is in the U.S. Army, tweeted. "Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It's wrong when Democrats do it. It's wrong when Republicans do it."

"Like or loathe what he said tonight, it should be noted: The president spoke tonight on the grounds of a national park, flanked by US Marines, and took direct, specific aim at his predecessor and members of the Republican Party," CBS News Senior White House Correspondent Ed O'Keefe tweeted. "Another thing we don't see everyday."

CNN Chief National Affairs Correspondent Jeff Zeleny tweeted, "There's nothing unusual or wrong with a President delivering a political speech - it's inherent in the job description - but doing it against a backdrop of two Marines standing at attention and the Marine Band is a break with White House traditions."

"The Marines behind Biden was weird," ABC News producer Jeffrey Cook tweeted. "If Trump did that, every Dem operative I follow would be freaking the f out."

During the speech, Biden ignored the numerous crises that have erupted under his watch - historic gas prices, skyrocketing inflation, a historic flood of illegal aliens into the U.S., disastrous foreign policy decisions, and more - as he sought to portray his presidency as a success.

"America's economy is faster, stronger than any other advanced nation in the world," Biden claimed, despite the fact that the economy has sustained two consecutive negative quarters and the housing market has entered its first downturn since the Great Financial Crisis.

Considering what is being reported as the most divisive presidential speech - September 1, 2022 - in modern American history, where over 74,000,000 people, many of whom are OUR greatest patriots, were named as fascists by inference or otherwise: Is Joe Biden clearly capable of governing all of the American People to the betterment of this Representative Republic?
Yes, it is important that Haters are named.
No, Joe Biden cannot accept criticism when the real truth is his cruelest taskmaster.
I have no idea what is going on because I only consume Democratic Socialist Media.

Inarguably, the policies of the Democrats in congress and Joe Biden as the Executive is plunging the United States into a recession, if we are not already there; a recession that was completely avoidable. Will abrupt changes in policies occur in time?
Yes, the Democrats have a bold plan, yet to be revealed, to save us.
No, there will have to be a complete undoing of the damage done by these Democrats.
I can't do simple math, so how am I to understand the concept of basic economics.

Was it a judicious ploy for Joe Biden's FBI to execute the unprecedented raid of President Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate?
Yes; the Cheneys despise this former Republican president, and for good reason ... so they say.
No; never has a former president been treated with this level of vindictive abuse by those temporarily in power.
  Who cares? It's Trump.

''Mainstream'' should be in quotation marks. If truth in advertising applied to them, they would be called "Leftstream media".

Up until now, I have never thought of myself as a MAGA group guy.

In 2016 election cycle, I voted for Ted Cruz in the primary, and I chose to support Donald Trump for a variety of reasons other than him being the Republican nominee, and was most happy to vote for Mr. Trump over the corrupt and maniacal Hilary Clinton in the general election.

In the 2020 general election, I was an ardent supporter of President Trump in that presidential election because, by far, Mr. Trump was the most successful American President since Ronald Reagan, and did so against extreme factions of collusive propaganda; frivolous investigations by those steeped in guile, and what I now recognize as real - the organized, unconstitutionally unelected reign of the Deep State (it is most real and fully exposed).

I now know these truths that: 1) I did vote for Donald Trump twice; 2) And from my vast knowledge of what is real - Donald Trump was elected twice.

Still, I have never considered myself a group member of MAGA.

Now, because of the constant idiotic ramblings of one of the stupidest and most dangerous politicians in America's history, who just happens to be the representative president for those that chose to vote for what we NOW exist under ...

I AM MAGA!

And damn proud of it.
