Patricia (McQuade) Ryan | Eastern NC Now

    Patricia (McQuade) Ryan, 92, of Suffield, CT passed away on January 16, 2013. Born in New Rochelle, NY on October 1,1920 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary McQuade.

    She graduated from New Rochelle High School and attended College of New Rochelle. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter E. Ryan, of 50 years in 1999. They resided in Larchmont, New York for over 35 years where she was a parishioner at St. Augustine Church and member of the Larchmont Shore Club and Larchmont Yacht Club. Patricia was an Executive Assistant at G. Schirmer Music in New York prior to her marriage and an Executive Secretary at the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years after her children were grown. Retirement was spent in Washington, North Carolina where Patricia was a member of the Moms and Pops at Mother of Mercy Church and a member of the Washington Yacht Club. Patricia moved to Suffield, Connecticut in 2005 and lived at Suffield by the River and Suffield House. She is survived by her six children Patrick Ryan and Timothy Ryan both of San Pedro, CA, Mary Sue McKenna of Dallas, TX, Terence Ryan of Longmeadow, Sheila Wilkinson of West Springfield and Peter of Kansas City, MO and twelve grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 387 Chestnut St. Spfld. Burial will be private.
