German court: entire Berlin election has to be re-run due to frauds | Eastern North Carolina Now

This is what should have happened in some US states in 2020

ENCNow

Berlin's Constitutional Court, its highest court, has ruled that the 2021 state election in Berlin (which is a state as well as a city) was void due to massive irregularities, and a new election in the entire state must be held in February. The court had previously voided the election, but the national government, run by the same political parties that run the Berlin state government, had decreed that the election would only have to be re-run in the districts with the most irregularities.  The Constitutional Court has now ruled that the new election must cover the entire state.

Two small news outlets had uncovered the fraud, which was then largely ignored by the "major media".  This, however, was enough to get the courts involved to remedy the situation.

It is good to see the Constitutional Court in Germany doing what American courts should have done after the massive irregularities in the 2020 US election.
