Theresa LeMay Daniels | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Theresa LeMay Daniels, age 87, a resident of Pamlico Beach, died Friday, December 9, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, S.C.

    Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Pamlico Beach Cemetery at Ryder Hill, conducted by Dean Fulford, Jr.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: Christopher Daniels, Randall Moore, Christopher Hudnell, Jr., Christopher Hudnell, Sr., Tony Castleberry, and Clay Chauncey.

    Mrs. Daniels was born in Lowell, Mass. on October 1, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Lucien A. LeMay and Angeline Pintal LeMay. Mrs. Daniels was the owner of Pamlico Beach Grocery. She was a member of Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. In her spare time, Mrs. Daniels enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, gardening, and crocheting.

    Mrs. Daniels was married to William Metrue Daniels, Jr., who preceded her in death, January 30, 2020.

    Mrs. Daniels is survived by two daughters, Margie Keech and husband, Donnie of Pinetown, Sheila Moore and significant other, John Caldwell of Duncan, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Angela Hudnell, Ronnie Moore, Jr., Christopher Daniels, Susan Keech, Randall Moore, Elizabeth Daniels, D. J. Keech, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Faith Hope Hudnell, Christopher Hudnell, Jr., Bryce Keech, Braelynn Keech, Jessica Tetterton; one great grandchild, Caison Grady Hudnell and three brothers, Leo LeMay, Armand LeMay and Richard LeMay.

    She was preceded in death by her sons, William Billy Daniels III, Gary Russell Daniels; her siblings, Jerry LeMay, Henry LeMay, Robert LeMay, Jeanette LeMay Gagnon, Paul LeMay, and Margaret Leakeas.
