Eyewitnesses confirm that Rodriguez repressed a flash of panic while extricating himself from the conversation with a feeble "excuse me" to the new acquaintance who had just correctly recited back his occupation, the ages of his 4 kids, and his and his wife's full names.

Sources confirm his eyes flitted with hope as he considered asking the woman how to spell her name to extract it without admitting he had forgotten, but that he reconsidered after instinct told him it was a simple name.
