Twitter CEO Elon Musk predicted former President Donald Trump would benefit greatly in the 2024 presidential election should he be arrested.

"If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory," Musk said in a tweet Saturday in response to a Twitter exchange discussing the possibility of Trump being placed in handcuffs following an indictment.

The tweet by Musk, who is also CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has been viewed nearly 14 million times.

Recent reports said law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels are preparing for Trump to be indicted as early as next week as part of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's investigation into hush money payments to former porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election cycle.

If Trump is indicted, it would be the first time in history that a former U.S. president has been charged with a criminal offense. Trump denies any wrongdoing and claims he is being targeted by a political witch hunt. He called on supporters to protest.

Musk reinstated Trump on Twitter in November in response to a public poll. Trump has yet to use the social media platform since that time, but last week he did post to Facebook for the first time since the events of January 6, 2021.

Besides Trump, former South Carolina Governor and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy have entered the 2024 race for the Republican presidential nomination. Others who are expected to join are former Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Polls generally show Trump and DeSantis leading the pack in the GOP contest.

President Joe Biden has said he intends to seek re-election in 2024. That sets up the prospect of Trump and Biden having a rematch of their 2020 face-off.

During his new campaign, which started in November, Trump has already made some proposals, including building "Freedom Cities" on federal land.

In light of continued developments, primarily since 2008, there exists in these United States a Legal System which operates on a proved Two Tiered approach to justice rendered, which primarily benefits Democratic Elites and Woke Ideological Virtue Signalers, representing their co-dependent wards, to the expressed exclusion of normal hardworking American citizens: What is your suggestion in remedying this widespread injustice and, if not corrected, its existential outcome for our Constitutional Republic?
Complete overhaul of the Department of Justice and their enforcers - the FBI - to reflect a far more honest justice system to keep patriots remaining calm.
Disband the FBI, and request that congress investigate all unethical and non patriotic practices to partially right the wrongs of a distrusted and politically weaponized "Department of Justice."
Continue with the current system since the two tiered justice system has been so remarkably beneficial to Democratic Socialist political hegemony; chronic distrust in institutions notwithstanding.
