Barden Elliott Gradis | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Barden Elliott Gradis, age 67, a resident of Blounts Creek, NC died Sunday, April 2, 2023, at his home.

    The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the home located at 746 Whitehurst Road, Blounts Creek. (Core Point)

    Mr. Gradis was born in Pitt County on July 27, 1955, son of the late Dr. Howard Henry Gradis and the late Lillian Lynn Williams Gradis. He was a graduate of Rose High School and continued his education at Pitt Technical Institute (Pitt County Community College). He received associate degrees in both Auto Mechanics and Electrical Engineering. On December 26, 1982, he married the former Dinah Susan Bunting.

    Surviving along with his wife Dinah, he is survived by his sons: Howard Henry Gradis II and his fiancée Kim Bushhousen Palasch, Matthew Keith White and his wife Coralee Bohach of Bath, and David Brent White and his wife Janet of Bath; a brother: William (Bill) Howard Gradis and his wife Jonelle of Visalia, CA; three grandchildren: Chase Matthew White and his wife Alexis of Pinetown, Hayden Thomas White of Pinetown, and Meg Bundus of Carstairs, Alberta.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Core Point Chapel Building Fund, 6847 Core Point Road, Blounts Creek, NC 27814, or to the Beaufort County Humane Society, P.O. Box 33, Washington, NC 27889.
