Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed three bills into law on Monday that placed further restrictions on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives as Florida was recently ranked as the top state in the country for education.

The three bills that DeSantis signed were Senate Bill (SB) 266, which prohibits institutions from spending federal or state dollars on discriminatory "diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)" initiatives; House Bill (HB) 931, which prohibits Florida's public institutions from requiring students, faculty, or staff to take political loyalty tests; and SB 240, which expands workforce education initiatives and increases access to career and technical education (CTE) programs, according to the governor's office.

"Florida has ranked number one in higher education for seven years in a row, and by signing this legislation we are ensuring that Florida's institutions encourage diversity of thought, civil discourse, and the pursuit of truth for generations to come," DeSantis said in a statement. "Florida is taking a stand for empowering students, parents, and educators to focus on creating opportunities for our younger generations. I am happy to have worked with the legislature to get this important legislation signed, sealed, and delivered."

SB 266 garnered the most news attention because it directly goes after woke ideologies in higher education by cutting off funding for "initiatives that promote dangerous political and social activism, such as DEI initiatives."

"This bill prohibits programs, majors, minors, curriculum, and general education core courses that violate Florida law regarding prohibited discrimination or that are based on theories that systemic racism, sexism, oppression, and privilege are inherent in the institutions of the United States and were created to maintain social, political, and economic inequities," the governor's office said. "Additionally, this bill will require that our university presidents renew their ownership of and accountability for hiring, promoting, and when necessary, disciplining faculty."

HB 931 prohibits schools from requiring "political statements and ideological attestations by faculty and students in hiring, promoting, and admissions."

It has been far too many years since the Woke theology interlaced its canons within the fabric of the Indoctrination Realm, so it is nigh time to ask: Does this Representative Republic continue, as a functioning society of a self-governed people, by contending with the unusual, self absorbed dictates of the Woke, and their vast array of Victimhood scenarios?
Yes, the Religion of Woke must continue; there are so many groups of underprivileged, underserved, a direct result of unrelenting Inequity; they deserve everything.
No; the Woke fools must be toppled from their self-anointed pedestal; a functioning society of a good Constitutional people cannot withstand this level of "existential" favoritism as it exists now.
I just observe; with this thoughtful observation: What will happen "when the Vikings are breeching our walls;" how do the Woke react?
