Tucker Carlson said he made "a huge mistake" when he decided to get involved in American politics in November 2022, noting that he doesn't plan to weigh in on the upcoming Republican or Democratic primaries.

Carlson gave his first interview since leaving Fox News during Friday's episode of Rumble's "Stay Free With Russell Brand" podcast. When asked by Brand what his relationship now is with former President Donald Trump, Carlson made it clear he won't be talking about the ins and outs of the 2024 election.

"Well, I love Trump, personally," Carlson replied. "I mean I made a huge mistake last November in getting involved in American politics. Something I've never done before, in making calls [about who was going to win in various states.]"

"And I was wrong on almost every call," he added. "I'm not a very astute political analyst. I'm not interested in politics. I never have been interested in politics. I'm interested in ideas. I'm interested in people. And so there's a primary going on in the United States between Trump and a bunch of other people, primarily [Florida Gov.] Ron DeSantis ... but others, Vivek Ramaswamy for example."

"I haven't said word one about it, don't plan to," Carlson continued. "I think looking back on this ten years from now, assuming we're still around, I think we are going to see Trump's emergence as the most significant thing to happen in American politics in 100 years because he reoriented the Republican party against the wishes of Republican leaders."

The former Fox News host explained that when it comes to how he feels about Trump now, it's the former president's "foreign policy views," specifically when it comes to the Ukraine war, that make him stand out from the rest.

He said Trump is the only person with "stature" in the Republican Party who has asked "why are we supporting an endless war in Ukraine," and he slammed "everyone in Washington" for having the opposite reaction to the war.

Despite his comments about staying out of politics, Carlson later told the host he's "hoping" both Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running against President Joe Biden in the Democratic primary, are the ones to get their parties' nominations, but said that he thinks it's going to be "tough" for them.

It has been far too many years since the Woke theology interlaced its canons within the fabric of the Indoctrination Realm, so it is nigh time to ask: Does this Representative Republic continue, as a functioning society of a self-governed people, by contending with the unusual, self absorbed dictates of the Woke, and their vast array of Victimhood scenarios?
Yes, the Religion of Woke must continue; there are so many groups of underprivileged, underserved, a direct result of unrelenting Inequity; they deserve everything.
No; the Woke fools must be toppled from their self-anointed pedestal; a functioning society of a good Constitutional people cannot withstand this level of "existential" favoritism as it exists now.
I just observe; with this thoughtful observation: What will happen "when the Vikings are breeching our walls;" how do the Woke react?

Understanding that this fragile Republic of the self-governed is in a precarious space in our nation's vast history: What is your honor bound patriotic duty in helping to sustain the continuance of these United States of America?
I will depend on my Democratic Socialist politicians to continue to march hard toward the Left to provide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for all who think and do as they are told.
I will defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and support all elected leaders who pledge to protect and insure the continued sovereignty of this Representative Republic.
I am very concerned about maintaining my current life style without working. I was told that as long as I vote Democrat, I had nothing to worry about ... but now I worry.
