Nora Worley Williams, 94, of Windsor passed away surrounded by family August 20, 2023 in Chocowinity. Nora was born in Whittier, North Carolina to the late Charles and Ethel Worley. She lived in Plymouth, North Carolina most of her adult life and worked there as a beautician for over 40 years. She and her husband, Waverly, moved to Windsor later in life where they enjoyed many years together prior to his death in 2012. Prior to her declining health, she enjoyed going to the Albemarle Sound and enjoying time spent with her "Sound Family". She also enjoyed traveling and treasured her trips to Hawaii with her daughter, grandson and friends. Spending time with her great grandsons, Beau and Brody Jordan, brought her much joy and happiness over the last few years and the one thing she looked forward to everyday was receiving a phone call from Jakki Sawyer. Nora lived with her daughter Patti and son in law Lloyd in Chocowinity the past two years where she was spoiled by wonderful neighbors, enjoyed the "Maritime Mafia" happy hours and most of all was able to routinely spend time with her grandson, Trey Jordan, and his family.

In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by husband Waverly Williams and sister Mary Ann Reed. Nora is survived by her daughter Patti Jordan and son in law Lloyd Jordan of Chocowinity, grandson Trey Jordan and wife Jessie of Chocowinity, great grandsons Beau and Brody Jordan, and several nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the great care and compassion they provided during Nora's last few weeks. The family will be holding a private celebration of Nora's life at a later date.

Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is honored to serve the Williams family.
