1/4 of Americans know someone who died from Covid vaccine: poll | Eastern NC Now
and a quarter of Americans say Covid vax is unsafe
A new poll by the liberal Annenberg Center for Public Policy has found that 24% of Americans personally know someone who died from the Covid vaccine injections. 7% are not sure. A similar 24% say the Covid vaccine is unsafe, up from 18% in August 2022.
This comes as Florida's Surgeon General has advised against taking the Covid vaccine boosters for safety reasons.
Meanwhile, a new report shows a revolving door between the Food and Drug Administration and Big Pharma, with 50% of FDA employees leaving to take better paying jobs at Big Pharma. This creates a perverse incentive to do Big Pharma's bidding in approval of new drugs. In fact, it also found that two of the key FDA staff involved in approving Moderna's Covid vaccine went on to take jobs at Moderna with six figure salaries within weeks of approving the Covid jab.

This comes as the world's largest single-center study on use of hydroxychloroquine to treat Covid conducted by researchers from a French University showed very significant benefits to patients from that treatment, providing a large reduction in the Covid death rate. The study involved over 30,000 patients treated both in-patient and out-patient at a hospital in Marseille, France, including 23,000 who received that treatment and 7,000 who did not. The death rate for those receiving the treatment was 0.8% compared to 4.8% of those who did not receive it, with those patients over 55 receiving even higher benefit.

You have such tunnel vision, Bob. If it is not part of the extreme left's political narrative, you reject it. The big takeaway from Covid is that the lockdown hurt us at least as much as the virus, and the lockdown was all politics. Another takeaway from studies since most of the Covid virus has passed us, is that the mRNA vaccines did not do much good and did more harm than expected. Moderna admits that their jab is "gene therapy" rather than a vaccine, but they did not publicize that to those getting the jab. It is up to each of us to get informed and weigh the risk versus the benefits. When I did, I drove an extra 50 miles each way to get the J&J vaccine, which my research told me was safer than the two mRNA jabs.
We should applaud the work of Rep. Kidwell in our state to get the law changed so a governor like Cooper can no longer singlehandedly impose a lockdown on our state. Other states have also done the same. The Covid response is a good example of Eisenhower's warning that we should not have scientists making government policy. That was in his farewell speech immediately after his more famous comments about the "military-industrial complex". |
