Mr. William Daniel “Danny” Wallace Jr. | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. William Daniel "Danny" Wallace, Jr., age 52, a resident of 3236 Cherry Run Rd., Washington, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his home.

    Memorial services will be 2:00 pm today at Wanoca Presbyterian Church and will be conducted by Travis Boyd.

    Danny was born in Beaufort County on January 17, 1961 to William Daniel Wallace, Sr. who survives and the late Hilda Mizelle Wallace. He was a 1979 graduate of Washington High School, was recently employed with Oak Ridge Metal Works and was formerly employed for many years with Fountain Powerboats.

    Survivors include his father, William D. Wallace, Sr. of Washington, four sisters, Barbara W. Lun and husband Ron of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cindy W. Cochran and husband William of Washington, Betsy W. Beamon and husband Jimmie of Washington, Amy W. Marshall and husband Justin of Carolina Beach, ten nieces and nephews and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Patrick Cochran.

    The family will receive friends at the home of his father, Dan Wallace on Cherry Run Rd., Washington.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to a memorial fund in Danny's name and directed to, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889 or to the charity of one's choice.
