    Troy Keith "Bubba" Coggins, Jr, age 40, a resident of Chocowinity, NC Passed away on Sunday December 3, 2023. He was the son of Kimberly Ann Davis Hoskins (Mark Hoskins) and Troy Keith Coggins (Kay) of Chocowinity.

    The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Saturday December 9, 2023 at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of Troy and Ashley 20 Edgewood Drive, Chocowinity, NC.

    Keith was a native of Pitt County. He worked on and off over the years for Quality Tire and Auto Service in Greenville and Ayden, a family business started by his late grandfather. He recently had been unemployed because he was helping his fiancée care for her grandmother. During Troy's spare time he loved to do woodworking. He had been making reindeer recently for Christmas. He also enjoyed motocross. He loved riding as well as attending races and watching motorcross on television. He loved to go fishing and crabbing any chance that he got. Spending time with his family was very important to Keith. He also loved to lend a helping hand when others were in need. Day trips to the beach with family were very enjoyable to him as well as going out on the boat.

    He is survived by his fiancée of six years, Ashley O'Neal Wright, two daughters, Kristian Coggins and Serenity Coggins, two sons, Tyler Coggins and his fiancée's son Beau Wright that he loved like his own, one granddaughter Heaven Jones, a brother, Mitchell Heath and his fiancée Monica Edwards of Grimesland, a step brother, Dylan Thomas of Chocowinity, and uncle Jamie Coggins and wife Sara of Greenville, an aunt, Annette Coggins of Belvoir, he also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved.

    He is preceded in death by his grandparents Floyd and Estelle Stallings Coggins, Charlie James Davis, Doris Jean Davis, an uncle, Jennis Michael "Mike" Coggins and Jeff Davis.

    Memorial contributions may be made to help addiction and mental health service in Beaufort County.
